Global experience
Henry Goodwin has nearly two decades experience in corporate and political communications, spanning three continents. He has worked with some of the world’s biggest brands, including Walmart, Centrica, Kingfisher, GlaxoSmithKline, The Carbon Trust and BP.

Henry has advised a range of Chief Executives and political candidates on public speaking, broadcast appearances, print media interviews and public debates. These have included: former CEO of Kingfisher plc, Sir Ian Cheshire; former Governor of Louisiana and US Presidential candidate, Bobby Jindal; former CEO of BAE Systems, Walt Havenstein; former Chairman of the UK Conservative Party, Lord Maude of Horesham; CEO of Norway’s Gassnova, Trude Sundset; and CEO of BP Mexico, Angelica Ruiz.

Henry also worked with Lord Browne of Madingley, former CEO of BP, to edit and publicize his 2010 autobiography ‘Beyond Business’.

During the 2008 financial crisis, Henry prepared the CEO and Chairman of Northern Rock Bank for testimony at the UK Parliament’s Treasury Select Committee, during its inquiry into the run on the bank.
Henry was named in PR Week’s 2011 ’29 Under 29’ and was the 2010 winner of CorpComms Magazine’s Public Affairs Campaign of the Year.

Until 2017, Henry was Vice President of Marketing Communications at Nasdaq-listed Bottomline Technologies, where he was responsible for the company’s communications globally.
In addition to working with individuals, Henry is currently national communications adviser to Marsy’s Law, a civil rights cause which seeks to include victims’ rights in the constitution of all 50 US states.
Henry’s writing has been published in Forbes, the Washington Post, The Washington Examiner, the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the Des Moines Register, the New Hampshire Union Leader, cnn.com, foxnews.com and the Wall Street Journal.
Henry was educated at Exeter School, England and King’s College, London.
